All King Engineering products are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Any product or part found to be defective, under normal use within one year of purchase, will be repaired or replaced at no charge if returned to the company at Newell WV within ten days of discovery of the defect. No other warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including the warranties of fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability, are given by this agreement.

The exclusive remedy for nonconformity of these goods shall be repair and replacement of the nonconforming goods or parts.

Seller shall not be liable for consequential damages resulting from breach of this agreement. The term "consequential damages" shall include but not be limited to damage to all machines, equipment and goods other than the goods sold hereby, interruption of production, loss of profits, delays of any kind, administrative expense and overhead.

Documentation Required for Equipment Return & Repair

Return Goods Authorization number is required. Returns can be made for such reasons as defective product, authorized 90-day samples, wrong product shipped, duplicate shipment or warranty repair. Defective product will be confirmed prior to credit being issued.
The following procedure must be adhered to before material can be authorized for return;

  1. An RGA number must be issued with all questions answered and information blocks completed. The more information obtained on the RGA will better help King Engineering to correct the problem.
  2. The customer is to be notified that the RGA number MUST accompany the package on the outside of the box and on the packing slip.
  3. All RGA’s are to be shipped to King Engineering (Newell WV) freight pre-paid. Freight for duplicate shipments, wrong products and defective product will be issued as credit.
  4. All RGA’s must be authorized by the King Engineering CS Manager and are valid for only 45 days from issue.

NOTE: All RGA's must have as a minimum the following information before being approved; customer invoice number, customer account number, customer PO number, King Engineering product number and quantity, product description and reason for return.
