A standard 1-unit scale is included in the package price listed for LevelBAR models. The LevelBAR scale is custom marked in any specified unit of measurement (gallons, liters, barrels, etc.). An optional 2-unit scale can combine any two different measurements such as weight and volume, or volume and depth.
When ordering, the following information must be supplied. If replacing an existing scale, also provide the original serial number.
• Specific Gravity (Density) of Tank Contents
• Product Designation (tank contents)
• Description of Tank (e.g., Walker 6000 gal silo)
• Tank Dimensions
• Tank Name (to be noted on scale)
• Pressure Range of transmitter or LevelBAR
• Scaling Units (e.g., lbs, gals, liters, etc.)
Scales are calculated for the individual tank geometry and product specific gravity. Scaling adjustments setting (REF HIGH) is noted on the side of the scale. This is used to set the full scale display based on pressure range of the transmitter and maximum pressure created by depth of tank product.
Tank Calibrations - The LevelBAR indicator should not be used for physical water calibrations of tanks. Use of a pressure standard or other high accuracy pressure measurement instrument is recommended.
